Mindfulness meditation is about bringing your conscious awareness to the present moment - to the "here" and "now" where you are safe and everything is ok.
It's the opposite of feeling stressed or anxious, when most of your attention is occupied with obsessing about the past, and worrying about the future!
If you've never practised mindfulness meditation before, this is a really good one to help you get started. If you find it helpful, you might want to move on to a longer practice session.
